Outstanding space heater. Much more heat than most other heaters. I think that is because it is just more efficient. . . All the power goes into generating heat, not a motor to oscillate the unit in different directions, like some space heaters. Have used it for several seasons now. No problems. Heats me and the room up very quickly. Sitting in front of it is like sitting in front of a warm and cozy fireplace. Only drawbacks are that it will dry out the room, there is no remote control, and the noise from the fan, while not terribly loud, is enough to keep light sleepers awake at night. I use this one when I want to warm the room up quickly, and then turn it off when I want to sleep, or just use a different model when I want a no-noise no-fan heater for sleeping.

This space heater by Patton does a great job of initially heating up relatively quickly (fifteen minutes or so) and even while it’s “warming up” for the very first time it pushes hot air outward into the room you want to heat. True, it doesn’t heat larger spaces but on the other hand it’s great for heating rooms about the size of my bedroom (120 square feet).

Setup is nothing. Just plug it in and turn the temperature knob (the knob on the right) to one of two settings. I recommend the warmer setting at least initially and then you can lower it after you get the initial blast of heat. As for the other control knob on the left, I turned that all the way up to get the maximum blast of heat. Another plus is that the unit automatically turns off if it tips over or overheats so there doesn’t seem to be a fire hazard here.

The heater makes some noise while it’s working but it sounds like a fan and some people will definitely like this; that sound actually helps me go to sleep faster at night! If you’re a light sleeper, however, this could be a negative.

The only disappointment I have is that the temperature control is just one of two settings; and neither setting is specified by degrees Fahrenheit.

I recommend this space heater by Patton, especially for heating smaller rooms. People who want to heat larger spaces would do well to continue looking for larger and more powerful space heaters.

I used it mostly in the fall and winter time. It worked pretty well. The thing i like most was that it had a automatic cut off, if it ever gets knocked over. I have kids so that was a plus. It heats up pretty quick it doesnt work well in large rooms, but it works more so in bedrooms. I mean dont get me wrong itll heat an entire apartment (600sq ft.) but it wont be toasty just warm enough. I had to retire mine cause the power cord broke off at the very base of the machine. Maybe from being bent to much, not sure. But a good heater. My next one i want it to be more powerful.
